![]() Could it be better? Yes.if one happens to locate the original sound elements, but so far this seems to be it. But this seems to be a case of Severin using the best elements they can gather. If it were a mastering issue, then yes it's defective. Hmm.can't say I agree the product is "defective". I have yet to receive an answer to one of my e-mails. Incidentally I am not very impressed by Severin's customer satisfaction. As far as I am concerned they have put out a defective product Why couldn't they use the sound elements utilized by the old Image DVD of Terror is Man? If memory seves that didn't have any problems. These are classic Turkeys either way and I am gonna eat em up and have multiple helpings over the life of these BluRays. To each his own with To-Furkey or Turkeys. These are Classic B-Movie Horror flicks forthis Thanksgiving. May have to buy separately on Severin's site. I know I will repeatedly watch this set and chill out with a drink that I am gonna mix up with that Beast of Blood swizzle stick. which is what these movies also had going for em. and fun, too with swizzle sticks and other giveaways and gimmicks. Definitely one of the best releases of the year. Maybe there are some avail on Diabolik DVD or Amazon still. btw - Severin's BLOOD ISLAND box sets sold out on their site. or post a few more inaccurate statements about aspect ratios or nonsensical diatribes and retorts about nothing of real importance or significance to a top notch release that they want to knock. What is gonna make whiners, gripers and naysayers here happy. Great Job Severin! Lots of sour grapes going on here by a few who have nothing better to do but. you are in for the best looking treatment these films have ever had on any home video format. The BLOOD ISLAND films look better than they ever have. Stick with another release of BIKINI DRIVE-IN Fred. Me thinks there are a few trolls here working the ridiculous route as voiced by Fred Olen Ray who makes a gripe about the aspect ratios and day for night scenes being incorrect, too. which is a really good film and is essentially a film that riffs on the anti-vivisectionist issue. (Still an audio problem on TERROR IS A MAN I think. plus how the so-called artistic quality and aspect ratios for cheapies made in the Philippines has been compromised. I love how some of the lost souls on here continue to argue about how inhumane a film was to animals from over 50 years ago.
